Every child's qualifications, talents, abilities and interests are different, which leads to some children learning fast and some children learning slowly.
Traditional standard teaching or rigid teaching fails to take into account children's individual differences, obviously does not meet children's learning needs, and can not let children get good learning results.
In order to make children learn effectively, teachers should understand students' physical and mental development and learning needs, and then adopt appropriate teaching methods and contents, so that the teaching effect can be easily seen and children will not regard learning as a chore.
Therefore, many scholars emphasize the importance of sex education, that is, to carry out education suitable for learners' nature and personality. "Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude" advocated by Confucius can be said to be the best interpretation of sex education.
Howard gardner, a professor at Harvard University School of Education, put forward the theory of multiple intelligences, which divides human intelligence into eight categories, including linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, spatial intelligence, body-kinesthetic intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, introspective intelligence and natural observer intelligence.
Every child is divided into eight kinds of wisdom. Some children have high intelligence in Chinese and mathematics, but may have low intelligence in music. Therefore, it is difficult for education to make children have all eight kinds of wisdom. Therefore, the focus of education is to explore the advantages of children's eight kinds of wisdom, and give appropriate educational methods to effectively open children's learning potential.
Education does not turn every child into a genius, nor does it turn all geniuses into mediocrities. Instead, we should consider children's individual differences, make good use of appropriate teaching methods, help children learn effectively, and let every child give full play to his innate talent and potential, which is in line with the original meaning of education.
