Official website shows that Zhangbei County Education Bureau and Zhangbei No.1 Middle School, founded in 1952, are the earliest and largest full-time ordinary middle schools in Bashang area. In September 2005, it was accepted as a provincial model high school, and there was no junior high school. Zhangbei No.1 Middle School covers an area of 190 mu. There are teaching and experimental building 1 building, science and education building 1 building, 2 student dormitories, library 1 building and 6 student canteens, with a total construction area of 34 177 square meters, 64 teaching classes and 4,000 students.
