The Institute of Chinese as a Foreign Language is one of the important bases for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China. The college has 150 teachers, including 6 teachers who enjoy special government allowances and 1 person who are outstanding educators in China. The college has professional directions such as general Chinese, business Chinese and teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.

China Institute of Literature and Culture

China Institute of Chinese Character and Culture is the first research-oriented undergraduate Chinese character and culture institute in China, aiming at promoting the research and dissemination of Chinese character culture in China. The college has 9 undergraduate majors, including China language and literature, classic culture and ancient books arrangement, Chinese character art design and so on.

Minority Language and Culture College

The Institute of Minority Languages and Cultures, established in 1985, is one of the pioneers in the education and research of non-Chinese minority languages and cultures in China. The college has eight majors, covering Korean, Mongolian, Tibetan, Yi, Zhuang and Dai languages 16, and is one of the advanced research institutions specializing in minority languages and cultures in China.
