The school has been rated as advanced for four consecutive times in the supervision and evaluation of the district government education supervision office, and has been included in the advanced ranks in the inspection and appraisal of the education administrative departments and business departments. To our pride, in 2005, we won the honorary titles of Shanghai Code Demonstration School, the first batch of comprehensive quality demonstration schools in Baoshan District and civilized units in Baoshan District. The quality of school education and teaching is among the best in this area.

The school is listed as the experimental base of three national key topics: research on academic management and evaluation in implementing quality education in primary and secondary schools, research on the application of new educational psychology concepts in school education, and research on consulting teaching under modern information technology.

At present, with the deepening of curriculum reform, the second phase of curriculum reform has been fully rolled out, and the actual situation of the school has been carefully analyzed with the concept of development. On the basis of profoundly refining the old school year garden culture with a long history and strict school spirit, we readjusted and accurately positioned it, established the school-running purpose of "developing people with quality education and caring for people with quality service", and formed the school-running concept of "implementing quality education and realizing quality education". It has strengthened the school-running goal of "governing the school according to law, managing the school democratically, changing the school from a living one, establishing the school with characteristics and strengthening the school with high quality".
