It is a public vocational middle school. Xi Staff University is a university sponsored by Xi Federation of Trade Unions, approved by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. Its business is managed by provincial and municipal education departments. School has a long history.

The school was founded in 1980 with a history of 38 years. 27 junior colleges and 5 higher vocational colleges were held. At present, there are more than 2,500 students in higher vocational colleges, more than 20,000 college graduates and more than 50,000 people in various trainings.

Two campuses

The higher vocational campus, where students from higher vocational colleges study full-time, is located at No.60, middle section of Zhangjian Road, Sanqiao, covering an area of 180 mu, with beautiful environment, complete conditions for teaching, experiment and practice, and complete supporting places for life, culture and sports activities. The headquarters campus for college students' amateur study, online education and various trainings is located at No.262 Taibai North Road in the southwest corner of the city, adjacent to Northwestern University and Northwestern Polytechnical University, with convenient transportation and superior human environment.
