The new "Measures" stipulate that college students should be paid by the hour when they take part in temporary jobs on campus, and in principle, they should not be less than per hour 12 yuan.

In principle, work-study programs should not exceed 40 hours per month.

The "Measures" require that priority be given to work-study jobs for students from poor families. In principle, the time for students to participate in work-study programs should not exceed 8 hours per week and 40 hours per month. Work-study time in winter and summer vacations can be appropriately extended according to the specific conditions of the school.

The "Measures" stipulate that for fixed posts, the remuneration for 40 working hours per month shall, in principle, not be lower than the minimum wage standard set by the local government or relevant departments, or be based on the minimum living standard for residents, and may be appropriately floated.

Temporary posts on campus are paid by the hour, and the hourly remuneration is not less than RMB 12 yuan in principle. The remuneration standard for off-campus work-study programs shall not be lower than the minimum wage standard stipulated by the local government or the relevant departments of the school.
