Cai Yuanpei (1868 ~ 1940) is a democratic revolutionary, educator and thinker in China. 1905 joined the league, 19 17 served as president of Peking University, supported the new culture movement and advocated academic freedom, scientific and democratic academic ideas. 193 1, China civil rights protection league was established. His works include Cai Yuanpei's Philosophical Works, Selected Works of Cai Yuanpei's Mind and Selected Works of Cai Yuanpei's Pedagogy.
