When will the compulsory education law be implemented?
People's Republic of China (PRC) Compulsory Education Law 1986 was passed by the Fourth Session of the Sixth National People's Congress on April 12, 2002, and came into force on July 1986, 2002.

Prepared by: 1986 National People's Congress and revised by NPC Standing Committee in 2006. 1985 put forward the compulsory education, 1986 promulgated the compulsory education law, 12 passed in April, and/kloc-0 was implemented in July. In 2006, the Compulsory Education Law was revised and implemented on September 1. In 2000, free and compulsory education was implemented in rural areas.

Legal Status: This is the first education law formulated by the highest authority since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) is a law formulated in accordance with the Constitution and the Education Law in order to guarantee the right of school-age children and adolescents to receive compulsory education, ensure the implementation of compulsory education and improve the quality of the whole nation. The Compulsory Education Law consists of eight chapters, including general provisions, students, schools, teachers, education and teaching, funding guarantee, legal responsibilities and supplementary provisions.

The general principles are mainly about the purpose and task of legislation, ensuring the right of school-age children to receive education, and the rights and obligations of people and organizations other than students, schools and teachers (such as people's political science and law, social organizations) in the compulsory education stage.
