The Ministry of Education is the government department in charge of education and language work. The main tasks are: to study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, draw up the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, education system reform and school-running system reform. Responsible for the national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education and higher education (including running schools by social forces), and coordinate, guide and supervise the education work of all districts, counties (countries) and relevant departments.
