Opening remarks on the defense of graduation thesis for English majors
Chinese and English are quite different in thinking and expression. English is a static language and tends to use more nouns. Chinese is dynamic and verbs are often used. So when we translate English into Chinese, we should know this and change the part of speech. Next, this is the outline of my thesis. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts.
The first part introduces the basic concepts of speech and conversion.
The second part discusses the definition of translation and emphasizes the importance of part-of-speech conversion in the process of translation.
