In order to provide better service, the original "National Network Cloud Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools" was renamed as "National Smart Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools". The platform includes six high-quality resources: special education, curriculum teaching, after-school service, teacher training, family education and practical experience in teaching reform. Development history:

On February 17, 2020, in order to do a good job in the prevention and control of COVID-19, the Ministry of Education opened a national network cloud platform for primary and secondary schools to provide support and services for students to study at home; On February 24th, the upgraded platform was put into operation.

On March 1 2022, in order to thoroughly implement the national strategic action of digital education, vigorously promote the high-quality development of basic education, and effectively support the work of "double reduction" and "suspension of classes" during the epidemic period, the Ministry of Education revised and upgraded the "National Intelligent Education Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools" on the basis of the original "National Network Cloud Platform for Primary and Secondary Schools" and officially put it into trial operation.
