Hubei Information Engineering School was established in 2008 with the approval of Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. It is formed by integrating the resources of the former Hubei Information Engineering School, the former Jingmen Vocational Secondary School and the former Jingmen Finance and Economics School (a provincial key vocational school). It is the largest school with the strongest comprehensive strength in Jingmen.

Hubei Institute of Information Engineering was established in 2008, located in Jingmen City, Hubei Province. As of February 23, 2020, the school covers an area of 603 mu, with a building area of 17000 square meters. It is a national key vocational school directly under Jingmen City. The current party secretary is Zou Hao, the principal is Wang Yichun, and the school motto is "the combination of virtue and art, knowledge and action".

As of February 23rd, 2020, Hubei Information Engineering School has set up 20 majors in three departments, including secondary vocational employment, secondary vocational education and 3+2 five-year secondary vocational education classes, with 320 full-time teachers.

Hubei Information Engineering School is a combination of Hubei Information Engineering School, Jingmen Vocational Secondary School and Jingmen Finance and Economics School. 20 10 in August, the east and west campuses of Jingmen Vocational Education Group merged to form Hubei Information Engineering School.

The campus covers an area of 402,000 square meters (603 mu), with a construction area of 6,543,800 square meters and fixed assets of 200 million yuan. At present, there are 568 staff in the country, including 424 full-time teachers and 53 full-time teachers with senior titles/kloc-0.
