With the rise and rapid popularization of the Internet, a new global social organization form-"network society" is forming a social moral system corresponding to this "virtual society"-"network morality", which poses a severe challenge to the moral concept and value system of traditional society. We must carry out effective network moral education for contemporary college students as the main force of the Internet. The so-called network moral education is an activity that a certain society or class systematically exerts moral influence on people in order to make them accept and follow the requirements of the network moral standard system, standardize their behavior according to their value standards, and shape their moral quality. Compared with traditional moral education, network moral education has its unique principles, contents and methods. Investigating and studying network moral education is not only the need of self-discipline of college students' network ideological and political education, but also the sacred mission entrusted by the times.

First, the basic principles of college students' network moral education

The principle of moral education is restricted by the inherent stipulation of morality itself, and it is also a summary and generalization of educational practice experience. Network morality is a new moral system based on the network society, which has the characteristics of autonomy, openness, pluralism and equality, and requires the basic educational principles corresponding to it.

First of all, adhere to the principle of combining absolute freedom with relative freedom. The appearance and development of virtual space on the Internet greatly expanded people's individual ability and communication ability, and provided people with full freedom for their individuality. Things that were unimaginable in the past can be easily done now. Any citizen "can" join international online societies at will, "can freely express personal opinions around the world", "can" read all kinds of information strictly prohibited by the state, and in some cases, can "read the databases of key departments such as banks and military bases in a country, embezzle and forge customers' online payment accounts and other" absolutely free "activities.

However, just like in physical space, human freedom is relative, and crimes should be punished, that is, "relative freedom." Second, adhere to the principle of unity of existing morality and network morality. Although network morality is an ethical requirement arising from the emergence of "virtual society", it is different from the existing morality rooted in physical space, but it must not be emphasized and ignored unilaterally. In fact, the existing morality is formed by people in long-term social practice. Its general principle and basic operating mechanism reflect the general laws of people's social activities and are effective in regulating people's behavior. Third, adhere to the principle of combining national interests with international interests. For a country, although the dissemination of information has the most national boundaries, the content of information and its social impact have national boundaries. Any cross-border information transmission is an act involving entering and leaving Japan, and the laws of both countries should be observed. Fourth, adhere to the principle of the unity of rights and obligations. The network society gives the network subject unlimited rights to use and obtain resources, but at the same time, it is also responsible for the social effect of its own network behavior, because "Internet" or "network" is not only a simple network, but also a network society composed of thousands of individuals. When each network user accepts a large number of network servers, addresses, systems and people, their behavior will eventually have a social impact, so they must be responsible.
