What kind of car is Volkswagen Tiguan?
Volkswagen Tiguan was named Tiguan after Shanghai Volkswagen introduced China brand in 2009. Tiguan's name comes from the fusion of German words tiger and iguana. The corresponding English words are tiger and legend, and Chinese means tiger and lizard. The champion is the result of a vote in the car magazine. Other unsuccessful brands include Namib, Rockton, Liger, Samun and Nanuk. Tiguan is Volkswagen's second SUV after Touareg. Tiguan will be put into production in Shanghai Volkswagen. The 1.4TSI engines put into production by Volkswagen Dalian Engine Factory next year will mainly supply sagitar and Ming Rui, while Tiguan will use the 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI engines already put into production. Tiguan, which will be put into production soon, will be divided into two series: the road version and the four-wheel drive off-road version. The power is stronger than the 1.4TSI gasoline engine currently used in the European version of Tiguan.
