Please talk about how to do a good job in humanities education in schools.
1. Find the breakthrough point

The starting point of humanistic education is humanistic knowledge. Therefore, humanistic education in our school should start with humanistic knowledge education and develop step by step. Humanistic knowledge education is the foundation of the whole humanistic education, because any humanistic subject is a command system in the final analysis, and it can also be said to be a kind of value. Only through humanistic knowledge education can students have a sense of identity with knowledge, internalize the values embodied in humanistic knowledge into themselves, form a stable humanistic spirit, and cultivate established humanistic ideas to guide their life and study. There are many things that students don't agree with and won't accept in the current educational content. Over time, students will even have rebellious psychology. This is very unfavorable to students' physical and mental development.

2. Humanities education should have channels.

In school, there are two channels for humanities education, one is in class and the other is out of class.

(1) Classroom teaching is the main channel of humanities education. First of all, we should give full play to the advantages of Chinese, mathematics, music, fine arts and other liberal arts subjects in humanities education, and carry out systematic humanities basic education for students. Secondly, we should fully tap the humanistic factors in natural science, such as the history of science, the deeds of scientists, the science of this discipline, the ethics that this discipline should embody and so on. As a science teacher, we should infiltrate this knowledge into humanities education. Professor Sang proposed that in the science teaching of liberal arts classes, we should be able to profoundly explain the culture of the subject. This is a very correct guiding ideology, but it is not easy to do it. The degree of realization depends on the level of teachers. In the teaching of non-human literature, it is necessary to tap scientific humanistic factors and infiltrate humanistic education. In addition, in the process of classroom teaching, teachers' work attitude, personality charm, self-study spirit and emotional communication between teachers and students will infect and affect students' humanistic spirit and give them a kind of humanistic care.

(2) Extracurricular education is also a vast world of humanistic education. Our school's series of publicity activities on humanistic knowledge can be said to be a special way of humanistic education, and its origin can be traced back to China society. At that time, the Chinese Academy was established, which benefited students a lot. Then we extended it to all the teachers and students in the school, and all the teachers and students began to learn The Analects. Of course, in the curriculum, we should not only do addition and subtraction, but also set it according to the learning situation of teachers and students. For example, at that time, our math group carried out a problem-solving activity one week, and every grade had an in-class or out-of-class math problem on the big blackboard every week. Students study hard and their grades improve rapidly. This activity is very popular with students. So is humanities education. For example, studying the Analects of Confucius can be done once a week. Later, the school set up a blackboard specially. The person in charge chose the paragraphs in The Analects that are more in line with the development of today's society and close to the actual life and study of teachers and students, copied them on the blackboard, and attached translations. Teachers and students study the Analects of Confucius once a week. On the premise of understanding the meaning, they will take some time to look at the blackboard when they pass by every day. In addition, there is a flag-raising ceremony at school every Monday, and students should speak under the national flag. Students often feel speechless about this content and think that this activity is a burden. Later, I changed this content to The Analects of Confucius, and talked about the contents of the Analects of Confucius that I learned last week for six to eight minutes. Both teachers and students have benefited a lot. Of course, there are many contents of humanities education and rich traditional culture. Besides studying The Analects, we should also study the theories of Four Books and Five Classics, Laozi, Mencius, and even foreign cultures. Therefore, we should make full use of time and opportunities to carry out similar activities, promote the infiltration of humanistic knowledge into students' minds, inspire and influence students' physical and mental development in a quantitative way, and then realize qualitative change step by step to benefit students for life.

3. Pay attention to the methods of humanistic education

Humanistic education should pay attention to methods. This is the method adopted by our school in humanities education, which can be summarized in four words: habituation and materialization. It should be said that habituation is a traditional method in the history of education, and it is also a method that embodies the characteristics of humanistic education. 1. First of all, what does Xi mean? Is to study and practice, so as to develop good moral habits and strengthen moral cultivation. In other words, we should not only learn humanistic knowledge, but also practice it according to the spirit embodied in knowledge. In humanities education, we especially emphasize moral practice, so moral practice is one of the educational propositions. For example, learning from Lei Feng should be everyday. It's not just March 5th that advocates learning from Lei Feng. Lei Feng spirit should stay on campus forever. Lei Feng also starts from every bit and every detail in daily life, setting his own behavior and mentality as an example and forming the spirit of Lei Feng that inspires the world. After the school issued a clear call, teachers and students should take active actions, implement the call, gradually realize the moral influence in trivial matters and moral practice, develop good moral habits, and gradually improve the level of moral cultivation. 2. smoked; It is edification, in fact, it is subtle, and it is to moisten things silently. This is a very prominent feature of humanistic education. So what should we cultivate? It depends on the teacher's personality and humanistic environment. Therefore, the school pays special attention to the training of teachers in the construction of teachers. In the process of teacher training, we attach importance to four things: grasping the most difficult place, grasping the most important place, and grasping the place with the worst effect, which must be grasped for a long time. Our school has also put forward six requirements, called self-righteousness, dedication and love of life. This is determined by the professional requirements of our teachers. As a teacher, to be a guide for students to learn, we must first learn well and do well by ourselves. In addition, teachers' moral qualities should be regarded as role models for students. Behavior can be regarded as a role model for students. Knowledge can be regarded as a teacher of students. This is our goal as a teacher. We should try our best to influence students with teachers' noble personality.

In addition, our school also strives to create a high-grade humanistic environment and give students humanistic edification. Humanistic environment mainly includes two aspects: spiritual environment and material environment. In the construction of spiritual environment, the school emphasizes group spirit, group consciousness and the gfd and style of all teachers and students. Only in this way can we form a good atmosphere in the school and create a humanistic environment with positive and enterprising, harmonious interpersonal relationship and respect for work and music groups. 3. Enlighten, since the enlightenment, realize, comprehend. We often say that a person's understanding is good, mainly because he understands a thing or thing or abstract thing quickly, and the premise of being quick is that he has enough experience and knowledge, and he must have a way of thinking by analogy. People with high understanding are more likely to integrate their experiences and feelings and get their own things. 4. change. With the premise and foreshadowing of enlightenment, students' knowledge in humanistic education will be improved and internalized into personal humanistic spirit and ability, and then the humanistic spirit and ability will be transformed into action to reach the cultural realm.

4. Educational concept based on students' independent development.

The object of our education is people, and it should be humanized. Humanization means respecting people, and respecting people means respecting people's consciousness. However, in traditional school education, the autonomy of education is always not on the side of students. In the whole process of education, students are basically in a passive state, which is a major drawback of current education and a significant gap between basic education in China and western education. Professor Pei Lina believes that subjectivity includes three characteristics: autonomy, initiative and creativity. Autonomy is the foundation of initiative, and initiative is the foundation of creation. It can be seen that autonomy is the most basic thing in subjectivity In the process of education, only by respecting students' autonomy can they give full play to their learning autonomy and creativity. So how did you do it?

1. First of all, to respect students' autonomy, students must be given appropriate freedom.

Without freedom, there can be no autonomy, so students should be given at least five kinds of freedom: freedom of course choice, freedom of interest choice and freedom of time control. Freedom of space use and freedom of thought. During the period of 1998, when our school formulated the teaching material reform plan, in the process of formulating the school curriculum model, some subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and foreign languages were taught at different levels, which gave students a certain choice. In addition, dozens of extracurricular activities have been arranged for students to choose from. In addition, control collective make-up lessons, control the amount of homework, and maximize students' free time. In the aspect of classroom teaching, we should oppose all the lectures and advocate giving students time for aftertaste and questions. In classroom teaching, there is a phenomenon that teachers often ask questions after explaining a question or knowledge point. Is it true or not? In my opinion, such questions are almost useless. The students answered correctly in unison, and those who are interested in speaking and asking questions have no time at all. In addition, it is very unreasonable for the teacher to ask the students to answer immediately after asking a question. If a student can answer this question standing, it means that the teacher's question is not level and has not thought through at all. The teacher's questions must be thought-provoking, thought-provoking, and thoughtful. Therefore, teachers should not let students answer questions immediately after careful thinking. They can think for a while and give them the freedom or space to think. This time gap is very important.

2. Create a teaching model that is conducive to students' autonomous learning.

Professor Ye Lan of East China Normal University once described the phenomenon of classroom teaching in schools like this: among teachers, students not only attend classes according to the provisions of the curriculum and the textbooks they get, but also act according to every instruction of the teacher, answer every question raised by the teacher, and listen to what the teacher teaches, why and how to teach in each class, but students don't know what to learn, why to learn and how to learn. Teachers are the masters of daily classroom life, and students are the followers of teachers. This passage is very profound and sharp. He profoundly revealed the disadvantages of current classroom teaching. In other words, students are slaves of learning in classroom teaching, not masters of learning. At present, this teaching mode must be reformed. Otherwise, it is impossible to give full play to students' autonomy. The teaching mode advocated by our school is a complete teaching process of double-subject interaction, communication and interaction, and a process of giving full play to the roles of teachers and students.

3. Improve the teaching evaluation method to make it beneficial to students' independent development.

Formally speaking, evaluation is the last link in the school teaching process, but evaluation is by no means the ultimate goal of education. Education is the growth and development of human beings, and it is their independent development and lifelong development. The evaluation method of education should be conducive to the independent development of students. One of the evaluation principles of our school is "one is given priority to, three are combined". One direction is to give priority to the positive evaluation of students, so that the evaluation of the school can make every student get the affirmation and experience of success as much as possible. The three combinations are process evaluation and result evaluation, written evaluation and practical evaluation, quantitative evaluation and judge evaluation. At the same time, the power of evaluation is given to students, and students gradually become one of the main bodies of evaluation. According to this principle, I think the current evaluation problem is a big problem in education. I think the management is most worried about distribution. The structural wage system began in Beijing. President Tao Zuwei of No.8 Middle School made a great contribution to education, because when teachers' salaries were very low at that time, he put forward the structural salary system, which won more investment for education and greatly increased teachers' salaries from the beginning. It has played a role in consolidating the teaching staff and stimulating everyone's enthusiasm for a period of time. However, this role is relatively short-lived after all. I think the higher the calculation, the lower the educational status of humanities. The more you calculate, the more you haggle over every ounce, so in the wage system, I advocate that it is easy to be rough but not refined. I appreciate the annual salary system abroad. How much salary should the post get a year, plus some overtime due. These are rewards for completing the work.

4. Educational evaluation

It should be said that the current evaluation is not worrying. Students take exams and teachers grade them. This is an evaluation, but this evaluation is not a true and reasonable evaluation. At present, we put forward a key point, which is positive evaluation and three combinations. At present, many evaluations are still difficult to implement, and some are still feasible.

Our school has reformed the evaluation of three good students. In fact, before the reform, I originally wanted to abolish this system, because after each semester, three good students will be evaluated every year, but the number of three good students is limited. Generally speaking, only one-third of the students can evaluate the three good students, so there is such a problem. After the end of the school year, one third of the students are three good students. As Chairman Mao said, these students have good health, good study, good ideological quality and all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique. What about the remaining two-thirds of the students? Aren't they good students? In this case, no matter how we improve the level and quality of education, there will always be two-thirds of students who are not good students, so isn't our education self-defeating? On the other hand, the negative impact is that after the end of the school year, one-third of the students go home happily with certificates to show their parents, and two-thirds of the students will be depressed and depressed. For example, teachers are commended for being advanced, but the number of places is limited, which also affects students' enthusiasm for work. Teachers who work well may not get the rewards they deserve. In this case, we will reform the assessment system. Miyoshi students were supposed to be cancelled, but later they dared not cancel, because in primary and secondary schools, it is affordable to be rated as Miyoshi students or Miyoshi students in the city, and you can get extra points for taking the entrance examination. You should take good care of six points in the senior high school entrance examination and one point in each subject. There are six courses and six points. Sometimes less than one student has no chance to enter that school at all. These six points are crucial and affordable, as is the college entrance examination. Therefore, if there are no "three good" students in the school, the students will suffer greatly, and the enrollment rate of the school will also be affected. Therefore, we have reformed the rating system and the evaluation system of "Three Good Students". And turned it into a comprehensive award with multiple individual items, each of which includes specific content. The purpose is to let almost every student get his own prize in some way after the end of the school year and go back to see his parents happily, which means more positive encouragement. In addition, we have also reformed the student handbook. Before the reform, this little notebook recorded the attendance of students, the reward and punishment system for students, the comments of the class teacher and the results of various subjects. Students with good grades will naturally be happy to show it to their parents after getting the manual. Students with poor grades dare not take it out, and some even tear up the instructions. Later, we made a reform and changed it into a student growth register, which recorded all aspects of the whole process from enrollment to graduation, allowing students to record themselves, including what activities they participated in, what unforgettable things they did, what awards they won, what aphorisms they liked, what colors they liked, and so on. Of course, you can also write scores in various subjects. This reform has been strongly supported and welcomed by students. For students, one thing is certain. When they graduate, they will return this register to him. This is not only the detailed course of his three years' study and life, but also the students will feel and be inspired by looking at past lives. In terms of student education evaluation, we still have a lot of room for development and reform. The credit system reform after the new curriculum reform will also be a great change. In the future, we are prepared to better implement the spirit of the new curriculum reform, and further adjust the methods of education evaluation to make it more specific and reasonable in combination with the requirements of the new curriculum reform.

3. Give play to emotional affinity and cohesion

In school management, the principal is school-oriented and the school is people-oriented, and school management embodies a kind of humanistic care. Everyone has rich emotions, which play a very important and special role in work and life. It is an affinity and cohesion. With emotion, people have compassion; With emotion, we can understand others; With emotion, there is love; With emotion, there will be enthusiasm. To exert emotional affinity and cohesion, we should do the following.

1) First of all, respect.

Respect teachers' personality, their position in the school and their innovative spirit. We should also respect the requirements of teachers' self-improvement.

2) The second is tolerance.

Be lenient with others, be strict with yourself, and be lenient with others. Only by being tolerant of others can everyone tolerate each other and everyone in the group feel safe. Only in this way can we create a more relaxed and free environment, have a strong democratic atmosphere and have a vibrant school. For example, as a principal, if he is not tolerant and can't be generous to anyone and anything, then the teacher will feel insecure at work and he will feel depressed. By generous, I mean that he can't demand perfection. Confucius said that the fault of a gentleman is like the fault of the sun and the moon, and talent is talented. In other words, everyone has shortcomings and makes mistakes. As long as you correct them modestly, everyone will respect you equally. Confucius also said that it is excessive to make mistakes and not correct them, and the mistakes that are not corrected are the real mistakes. So be strict with yourself and be lenient with others. There is another meaning of leniency, that is, be generous to those who treat themselves wrongly, forgive if they can, tolerate if they can, and treat him as well as others. When we say tolerance, we should be able to tolerate all kinds of people, including those who disagree with us, those who have shortcomings and those who make mistakes. I have followed three maxims all my life. The first one is that Mr. Tao Xingzhi holds a heart without a blade of grass. The second is the Book of Changes, which says that a gentleman is always striving for self-improvement, and the terrain is Kun, and a gentleman grows things with virtue; There is also Lin Zexu's "Rivers Into the Sea", which is very tolerant; The wall stands a thousand miles, and it is just without desire. These maxims are also accurate guiding ideology when dealing with some things in management. In 1950s, when the school celebrated its 50th anniversary, we designed a teacher's elegant demeanor program, and each teacher wrote a paragraph to express his feelings. At that time, I wrote that my favorite artistic image was Maitreya created by China people, because he had an optimistic spirit, a big belly and a broad mind.

(3) Give encouragement frequently.

Meeting needs is one of human characteristics, so we should attach importance to the role of motivation. People's needs should have both material and spiritual needs, so there should be corresponding material and spiritual incentives. Our school pays more attention to this. Chairman Mao said that people should have a little spirit, but it is not enough to talk about spirit. On the one hand, we should improve the treatment of teachers. In addition, spiritual encouragement is also very important. Teachers' love for students means meeting the needs of every student. Any student needs guidance, encouragement and care in his study. Therefore, the school should create an atmosphere of fraternity, so that every student is infected by the humanistic spirit and has strong feelings.

The above points made by President Lin are very vivid, and I also benefited a lot, which also triggered my thinking. I will also work hard from these aspects in the future.
