Brief introduction of branch surname
The origin of the branch surname is single, which originated in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. It used to be 1, one of the six parts of Jin State and Qing Dynasty. China is an ancient and civilized noble family, whose ancestor is Xun Shou of Zhuangzi. Xun Shou, the young grandson of Jin Xiangong Trusteeship Minister Xun, was sealed in the magistrate of a county (now northwest of yongji city, Shanxi Province) for his work, and he died as "Zhuang", which was known as the magistrate of a county in history as Zhuangzi. In 10 BC, Xun Gou, the son of Zhi Zhuangzi, became the marshal of the Han army in the state of Jin, taking Zhi Yi as his surname and Zhuangzi as his ancestor. Since then, Shi Zhi has been handed down from generation to generation. At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the military and political power of the State of Jin was in the hands of four Qing nationalities: Zhi, Han, Zhao and Wei. When Zhi Bo became an official of the Qing Dynasty, Zhi had become the largest family in the State of Jin. Zhi Bo wanted to revive the hegemony of the Jin State, and volunteered to donate ten thousand households to the country, and asked Han, Wei and Zhao to follow suit. Both the Han and Wei Dynasties complied, but Zhao refused to cede territory, so Zhi Bo joined forces with the Han and Wei Dynasties to attack Zhao's lair Jinyang City (now Taiyuan City) and promised to divide Zhao among the three clans afterwards. Just when Jinyang City was about to be submerged, Zhao Jia became a double agent. On March 3rd, 453 BC (March 23rd of the lunar calendar), Han and Wei got cold feet and joined forces with Zhao to defeat Zhi Bo. As Zuo Wei said, "Zhi Bo is destroyed, but Sanjin is strong, and Sanjin is divided into seven countries." Shi Zhi's failure led to the partition of Jin State by Korea, Zhao and Wei, and the division of Jin State eventually led to the demise of Zhou Dynasty. In order to avenge his master, Zhi Bo, Jade Jean left the eternal swan song of "A scholar dies for his bosom friend, and a woman delights herself". At present, the branch population is about 90,000 people, mainly distributed in Henan, Shanxi, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Jiangsu and other provinces. Celebrities in the past dynasties included Zhi Bo in the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhi Si, the satrap of Lingling County in the Han Dynasty, Zhi Yuan, the commander-in-chief in the Tang Dynasty, Zhi Zun, the general in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, the scholar in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, the compilation and revision of imperial academy, and Zhi Cheng, an educator in the Republic of China. There are Founding Major General Zhi Shengyuan, Fujian Provincial Party Secretary Zhi Shichang, and the fifth generation director Lei Zhi.
