Matters needing attention in handling Korean study visa
No matter which country you study in, a visa is a crucial step. Without a visa, no matter how good the school you apply for, students can't go to their target colleges and countries to study. So what problems should we pay attention to when studying in Korea?

Visa type

There are three kinds of study visas in Korea: C-3, D-4 and D-2.

C-3 visa

Suitable for applicants with language courses under 90 days.

D-4 visa

Suitable for applicants of language courses over 90 days. Those who study Korean in language training centers affiliated to universities, those who receive education in educational institutions other than academic research institutions are equivalent to those who study abroad, those who study technology and skills in public or public research institutions, research institutes and groups, those who practice or study in foreign-funded enterprises or enterprises invested abroad, and those who engage in research activities.

D-2 visa

Suitable for applicants with more than 90 days of professional courses. People who want to receive formal courses (bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctor's degree) education in specialized universities, undergraduate universities and graduate schools established according to the education law of the Republic of Korea, or in academic research institutions above specialized universities established according to special laws, or who want to engage in research in specific fields.
