Hubei Institute of Technology, located in Huangshi City, Hubei Province, is a provincial full-time comprehensive undergraduate college established with the approval of the Ministry of Education, focusing on engineering, combining work with study, and coordinating the development of engineering, science, economics, management, medicine, literature, teaching and art. The history of Hubei Institute of Technology can be traced back to Huangshi Industrial School, which was founded in 1975.
