Three types of kindergarten education evaluation
According to the function and running time of evaluation, kindergarten education evaluation can be divided into diagnostic evaluation, formative evaluation and summative evaluation. Diagnostic evaluation is generally carried out before educational activities are carried out or at the beginning of the semester. Formative evaluation is carried out in the process of education, and summative evaluation is carried out after a certain stage of educational activities is completed.

Diagnostic evaluation

The purpose is to understand the basic situation of children, including the diagnosis of children's intelligence, skills, behavior, ability, personality, mood and attitude. And make a judgment, so as to provide a basis for effectively making educational activity plans or solving some practical problems.

Formative assessment

The purpose is to make feedback adjustment in time, so as to adjust, modify and supplement the plan, content and methods of activities, make educational activities more reasonable and perfect, and promote children's development.

Summative assessment

The purpose is to fully understand the achievements of this stage of education, make a final evaluation of the degree of achieving the goal, and provide an objective basis for making plans and designing educational activities in the future.
