Changsha University-Sha College was upgraded from Changsha University (junior college) with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2004. The school implements a system of co-construction and co-management by provinces and cities, with Changsha as the head. The school is located in Changsha, a famous historical and cultural city in Central China, Hunan Province, on the bank of Liuyang River with beautiful scenery, overlooking the majestic Yuelu Mountain and backing the Hongshan Ancient Temple. The campus is a "garden-style" college in Hunan Province. The mountains and rivers set each other off, the trees are shaded and the scenery is pleasant.
