How is the continuing education of cost engineers stipulated?
The continuing education of registered cost engineers is divided into compulsory courses and elective courses, and each registration is valid for 60 hours. After continuing education reaches the qualified standard, a certificate of continuing education will be issued.

A registered cost engineer shall meet the requirements of continuing education stipulated by the registration authority within each registration period. The continuing education of registered cost engineers is divided into compulsory courses and elective courses, and each registration is valid for 60 hours. After continuing education reaches the qualified standard, a certificate of continuing education will be issued. The continuing education of registered cost engineers is organized and implemented by China Construction Engineering Cost Management Association.

Article 6 of the Interim Measures for the Implementation of Continuing Education of Registered Cost Engineers

The forms of continuing education for registered cost engineers are:

(a) to participate in the continuing education and centralized face-to-face training of registered cost engineers organized by China Price Association or provincial and departmental management institutions;

(two) to participate in various training courses and seminars for registered cost engineers organized by China Price Association or provincial and departmental management institutions;

(3) Other forms recognized by China Price Association.
