Second, a brief introduction of Changji College
Changji College is located in changji city, the center of the beautiful northern slope economic belt of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, 30 kilometers away from the capital Urumqi, with a history of more than 50 years. Its predecessor was Changji Normal School, which was established in 1959. 1985 was upgraded to Changji Normal College, and in May of 20001year, it was upgraded to Changji College with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the people's government of the autonomous region.
The college has 0/5 secondary teaching units, including Chinese Department, Chinese Department, Department of Economics and Management, Department of Foreign Languages, Department of Mathematics, Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, Department of Physical Education, Department of Music, Department of Fine Arts, College of Elementary Education, College of Marxism, College of Continuing Education, Aviation College, etc., with 20/0/2 years of undergraduate and specialist majors. In October13, it began to recruit engineering master students, and was officially approved as a master's degree awarding unit in May/20 18. There are more than 2000 registered undergraduates/kloc-0 and 65 graduate students. The school has three major disciplines in the autonomous region: materials science and engineering, energy and power engineering and computer science and technology (cloud computing), network and new media, and gradually formed a school-running pattern with reasonable professional settings and multi-disciplinary common development.
At present, the total value of all kinds of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment in the college is nearly 97 million yuan, the library has more than 707,000 books and 31.7,000 e-books.
In recent years, the college has successively established research institutions such as Women's Culture Institute, Western Region Culture Institute, Applied Mathematics Institute, Economic Management Institute, Computer Application Institute, Western Region Sports Culture Institute, Environmental Science Institute, and National Xinjiang Minority College Students' Learning and Using Common Language Research Center. The College has established long-term counterpart support relations with Shandong University, Jilin University, Xiamen University, Shaanxi Normal University, Beijing Forestry University, Lanzhou University and China Youshi University, and cooperated with many well-known enterprises such as TBEA and Lanshan Tunhe to train students. Now it has gradually formed a school-running pattern with reasonable professional settings and multi-disciplinary common development. Up to now, the college has trained more than 40,000 graduates, covering the north and south of Tianshan Mountain and all parts of the motherland, and has become the backbone of all walks of life.
