Reflections on the Application of NT3000 in Chinese Teaching

2 1 century, with the rapid development of computer technology and educational reform in the field of education, the application of multimedia technology in teaching is in the ascendant. Open courses, excellent courses and demonstration courses seem to be impossible without multimedia, and one of the requirements for teachers is to "master and apply modern educational technology". Teachers learn computers, prepare lessons and attend classes with computers, and some teachers are even keen to use multimedia in all classes. In this "upsurge", the author thinks it is necessary to think calmly about the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia teaching.

Thinking 1: the advantages of multimedia teaching.

The advantages of using multimedia in Chinese teaching are obvious. Specifically, there are the following aspects:

First, stimulate interest and improve efficiency.

In the past, the teacher was just a book, a mouth, a pen, which was amazing, and a wall chart and a small blackboard were added. Teachers are tired of teaching, students are tired of learning, and even some students have lost interest in learning. At this time, the emergence of this new form of multimedia teaching is like an oasis in the vast desert. It caught the students' hearts at once, made them interested in class again, and made the improvement of classroom efficiency a prerequisite.

Multimedia teaching means can vividly show students what can't be shown in real teaching. In front of the big screen, students can see the vibrant "spring", hear the surging "tide" and feel the muddy but pollution-free "lotus". For other subjects, students can intuitively see Brownian motion, cell division and volcanic eruption ... so that students can gain a more real understanding in a short time. For example, I used my own multimedia courseware for the lesson "Listening to Tide". In the tide of sound, the topic appears on the screen, followed by the author's head and introduction. This enables students to enter the realm described in the article as soon as they attend class, which lays the foundation for learning the author's goal of writing sounds in words. When reading aloud, I used three pieces of music for editing. The first part is the sound of the tide. From "There is Silence on the Sea", Duseni's serenade is used, and "I don't know how long it will take" is accompanied by the bell of Yongle Bell. Finally read the full text in the sound of the tide. At the end of the model reading, the students applauded. I think more than half of this applause is for this song. It can be said that this song makes these mountain children who seldom watch the sea really feel the taste of the tide, and at the same time, this song also greatly stimulates students' enthusiasm for reading. The teaching purpose has been achieved well.

Second, multi-pronged approach to strengthen memory.

In learning, memory is a big problem, and many students are tired of black and white in books, and they have a headache when it comes to it. In fact, in order to improve the efficiency of memory, in addition to making decisions, studying hard, concentrating, cultivating interest, association and so on. It is very important to use multiple functions, that is, the ancients said "three essentials", "mouth essentials" and "heart essentials". This is an important way to improve memory efficiency. In fact, you can also add "ear to", that is, "four directions". However, the traditional classroom model can't or is difficult to do this, so it is different when using multimedia. In the course of "Ailian Theory", I made a courseware with Authorware. For the key point in the article: the quality comparison between lotus and gentleman, I made the following design: I drew a lotus on the right side of the picture, and wrote seven sentences describing the lotus by the author on seven petals. On the left is the corresponding gentleman quality, but the order is chaotic. Ask the students to drag the letters representing the quality of a gentleman into the corresponding petals with the mouse. For each correct answer, an encouraging word will be displayed on the screen. At that time, many students were competing to operate on the stage, and the atmosphere was extremely warm. In the faint guqin music, students are completely immersed in the beautiful artistic conception of words, and soon remember the corresponding relationship between the quality of lotus and the quality of gentlemen, so as to understand the noble quality that the author uses lotus as a metaphor to show that he does not collude with the secular.

Third, set off the atmosphere and highlight the humanities.

The voice of Chinese teaching reform has a long history. In 2000, the new textbook was finally released. The new textbook emphasizes the humanity of Chinese subject and undertakes the task of spreading the splendid culture of China for 5,000 years. The strengthening of classical literature in new textbooks is enough to illustrate this problem. The task of Chinese teaching is to let students know about Chinese and literature at first, and then use it as a carrier to further understand China culture, from which they are influenced by truth, goodness and beauty and China culture. This point is just ignored by the traditional Chinese teaching methods and is difficult to spread.

Multimedia can create a rich cultural atmosphere and a good learning atmosphere in China with exquisite interface and elegant music, which can't be achieved by traditional Chinese teaching methods. In the courseware of Ailian, I designed the following interface. In the elegant guqin "Xiaoxiang Shuiyin", a peach-red lotus flower on the left side of the picture slowly opens on the blue background of water and sky, and then the title and author are written on the right side. The whole picture is fresh and elegant, with a strong sense of China culture, and elegant music gives people a distinct audio-visual experience. At the beginning of the class, I caught the students' emotions.

Fourth, create artistic conception and infect students.

Many of our texts are too far away from our times, and it is difficult for students to understand the artistic conception and feelings. We should move students and often read aloud. However, due to the limited reading ability of most teachers, the effect is often unsatisfactory. Some teachers even make students laugh when they read aloud, and the classroom atmosphere is completely destroyed. However, if you use a beautifully made picture, a piece of just right music, a set of just right shots ... plus professional reading, you can often arouse students' resonance and arouse their ideological identity.

Where were you when you were teaching Premier Zhou? I realized that the era was too far away from our students, and traditional teaching methods such as reading aloud would not arouse their recognition of this poem. I was reminded of a movie "Zhou Enlai" that touched me deeply ten years ago, and a song "Premier Zhou, where are you" written by Shi Guangnan and sung by Li Guangxi. In class, I introduced the new lesson with a group of shots of Premier Zhou's death and seeing him off in Shilichang Street, and then played the song "Premier Zhou, where are you?" . Then, in the deep music of Ode to the Yellow River, the second movement of the piano concerto, I played the reading recording of this poem. The auxiliary means of movies, songs and music have created a huge emotional magnetic field and truly created a sensible artistic conception, which makes people deeply moved. After class, my eyes are wet, and so are my classmates' eyes.

Thinking 2: The deficiency of multimedia teaching.

Multimedia teaching has its advantages, but due to the characteristics and limitations of the means itself, it also has the following shortcomings:

First, limiting thinking is not conducive to expansion.

Due to the "craze" of multimedia, many teachers plunge into the classroom, completely ignoring the teaching purpose, but multimedia for the sake of multimedia. In poetry teaching, many teachers also use this method to express the images in poetry with images, euphemistically called "directly acting on students' multiple senses, listening, seeing and feeling deeply ..." For example, there is a courseware "Looking at Tianmen Mountain". In order to facilitate students to understand the meanings of "door", "open" and "return" in the poem, the producer designed one according to the content of the poem. In the distance, between the red sun and the clear water, a white sail floats in the air ... The ancients said that "there is a picture in poetry". The teacher's starting point is good, and he wants to show his beautiful picture to the students through multimedia, but this picture does not exist on the screen, but in people's hearts. Besides, no matter how beautiful the picture in the teacher's mind is, it can't be fully displayed on the big screen. What's more, "there are a thousand Hamlets for a thousand readers", and students also have their own understanding of the pictures depicted in the poem. This practice of treating students as containers and imposing their own understanding of poetic artistic conception on them is tantamount to another kind of "cramming", which will only limit students' thinking and make them learn passively. Where does innovative thinking come from?

Second, it is difficult to make, which is not conducive to promotion.

Multimedia is no longer a simple combination of sound, painting and images, and more and more new technologies are applied to it. A good courseware is not just a simple combination of sound, pictures, videos and words. To make an excellent courseware, we must first process the sound, graphics and video, which requires the producers to be familiar with at least five or six kinds of application software, such as Super Jieba, Hero Eye, Acd see, Photoshop, Premiere, Cool 3D, Xera3D4, Authorware, Powerpoint and so on. Looking at the 200 teachers in our school, less than half can make courseware, and only a handful can make high-quality courseware.

However, some existing courseware, such as those sold in the market and downloaded from the internet, are all in one sentence: "It's not easy to use." There is a simple reason. Professional computer personnel are familiar with computer software, but not with textbooks and students. Other teachers have also considered the factors of teaching materials, but due to the limitation of level, the production is not exquisite. Some exquisite courseware made by teachers with higher computer skills are not suitable for their own students. And a good courseware must take into account factors such as teaching materials and students, which are indispensable. There is such a contradiction: I don't know how to do what I can to meet the demand, nor do I know how to do what I need.

Once I downloaded a courseware "Like a Dream" from the Internet. This word represents a beautiful realm, and the level of the producer really makes the author dare not compliment. After the courseware was opened, there were actually several gunshots and the producer unit appeared. In the picture read aloud, the color is miserable green, a boat, like a kindergarten child's painting, slowly enters from the outside of the picture (note: it is entering, not entering), and the pavilion is on the left. If you look at the picture upside down and then contact the gunshots in front, it seems that Li Qingzhao is here to hunt, not to play. How to make students feel the beautiful artistic conception of words with such courseware? How to achieve the teaching purpose of the classroom? How to spread the splendid civilization of China for 5,000 years?

Third, the lack of materials is not conducive to production.

This is also a problem reflected by many teachers. Making a courseware, the most headache is to find the material. This problem is particularly prominent in the small county where the author is located. I remember when I was working on Ailian, I spent more than half a month looking for pictures, looking for colleagues, asking friends, going into shops and surfing the Internet, and finally found some poor pictures. Fortunately, a colleague from another school came to our school to help finish a job. He collected a lot of materials, so he copied some from him, and the courseware was completed. The final stage of making and debugging is only about a week, and this is the first time that the author has made courseware with Authorware, and he is not very skilled. Where were you when you made Premier Zhou? In order to find the VCD disc of the movie Zhou Enlai, the author traveled all over the city, but found nothing. Finally, he found it in the online bookstore and mailed it to him, almost failing to catch up with the teaching progress. Visible material this problem is not solved, high-quality courseware is impossible.

Thinking 3: The improvement of multimedia teaching.

First, joint production is beneficial to quality.

As mentioned above, when making courseware, there will be "those who can do it don't know how to meet the needs, and those who need it don't know how to do it." This requires a team, which should be composed of teachers and professional multimedia producers, that is, "can do" and "can use" as mentioned above. There are only two kinds of courseware made by them: one is beautiful, but it doesn't meet the teaching needs; the other is it can meet the teaching needs, but the courseware is "disgusting". In the process of courseware making, only by close cooperation can we make excellent courseware that meets the teaching needs.

Second, strengthen training and facilitate use.

At present, teachers' computer level is generally in the "primary stage", and their computer level is not high, which leads to the following problems: First, they can't make courseware that meets their own needs, and even if they do, they look disgusting. This point has already been said above. But the bigger problem is that you won't use courseware made by others, and some teachers will even ask an operator to be there. I have encountered this situation. The teacher was in class when he suddenly met a problem. He called the author to the stage to operate on him. Even better, if you pay attention to computers, you can stop caring about students. If you care about students, you can't care about computers. This will greatly affect the teaching effect. At present, teachers should be trained in computer skills, instead of staying in the "primary stage" of text editing and typesetting. They should be encouraged to learn computer knowledge more deeply, be familiar with the use of multimedia teaching system equipment, and skillfully operate multimedia equipment to the degree of "no thinking". Only in this way can we ensure the effect of multimedia teaching.

Third, material sharing is convenient for production.

The preparation of multimedia materials is very heavy. For more than a year, the author feels that the most difficult problem in making courseware is not the technical problem, but the material problem. The so-called "a clever woman can't cook without rice". This requires us to pay attention to the accumulation of various materials and prepare more "meals". In addition, the sharing of materials should be realized. Otherwise, it is a very painful thing to find "rice" and dig a well temporarily every time you want to do courseware. Only by "digging deep holes and accumulating grain" can we avoid the above problems and improve the efficiency and quality of courseware making.

Multimedia is a new teaching method, as the chairman said, it is "the sun at eight or nine o'clock in the morning". Its future must be bright, but the road must be tortuous. The above is just the author's experience in learning and using multimedia teaching for more than a year. I am willing to study and discuss with my colleagues, and ask them to give me suggestions and make joint efforts to make this new method develop, play, carry forward and develop continuously.
