Any values are rooted in social practice, especially in real life. At present, China's economic system has undergone profound changes, social structure has undergone profound changes, interest patterns have been profoundly adjusted, and ideas have undergone profound changes. We are establishing the consciousness of self-improvement, innovation, success and entrepreneurship, but at the same time, it has brought some negative effects that can not be ignored: vague ideals and beliefs, distorted value orientation, weak sense of integrity, lack of social responsibility and desalination of the spirit of hard struggle.
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's Decision on Several Major Issues in Building a Harmonious Socialist Society, adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, clearly stated that it is necessary to build a socialist core value system, form the spiritual strength of the whole nation to strive for progress and the spiritual bond of unity and harmony, and lay a solid ideological and moral foundation for the United struggle of the whole party and people of all ethnic groups throughout the country. The social core value system is the internal spiritual embodiment and survival foundation of the social system, which determines the social development model, institutional system and objectives and tasks, and is in a leading position among all social value goals. Without the guidance of the socialist core value system, it is impossible to build a harmonious socialist society and a harmonious culture.
To firmly establish the socialist core value system, we must scientifically understand and accurately grasp the content of this system. The Sixth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee decided to point out: "The guiding ideology of Marxism, the common ideal of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, the national spirit with patriotism as the core, the spirit of the times with reform and innovation as the core, and the socialist concept of honor and disgrace constitute the basic contents of the socialist core value system." These four aspects constitute the basic framework of the socialist core value system.
The four aspects of the socialist core value system are rich in content, interrelated and interconnected, and together form a complete ideological system. To firmly establish the socialist core value system is to integrate these four basic requirements into the whole process of spiritual civilization, material civilization and political civilization construction, into all fields of economic, political, cultural and social construction, and into the whole process of national education and spiritual civilization construction, so as to make them become the spiritual strength and the spiritual bond of unity and harmony for the whole nation.
Our classmates are a group full of ideals, vitality and passion. They are easy to accept the value goals and codes of conduct that social harmony must abide by, and it is not easy to fully understand a harmonious society. What we need to do is to keep in mind the "Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces" and understand what to do and what not to do, which is conducive to better forming social civilization and morality and building a harmonious socialist society.
