How to develop good study habits?
Dear teachers and students:

Good morning!

The theme of my speech today is: "Develop good study habits and achieve a brilliant life". Mr. Ye Shengtao, a famous educator in China, said: "Education is to cultivate good habits." Statistics of many teaching research at home and abroad show that for most students, 20% of learning quality is related to intelligence factors, and 80% is related to non-intelligence factors. Habit plays a very important role in non-intelligence factors. Good study habits are an important guarantee for improving academic performance and an important factor for a person to become a success. A person who doesn't have good study habits often does nothing all his life. Middle school is an important period to cultivate good study habits. If you want to get good grades and use your time effectively, you need to constantly cultivate your good study habits.

First, the main study habits:

There are many study habits to develop, and I will only talk about a few main study habits now:

1. The habit of active learning. This is the most important study habit, including active preview, active review, and active independent completion of homework. Once this habit is formed, you can concentrate on your studies. Over time, time turns into knowledge, and knowledge turns into wisdom, thus gradually forming advantages.

2. The habit of previewing before class. (1) according to the teacher's requirements, preview carefully and finish the preview task in time; (2) Before each class, consciously check whether textbooks, preview study plans, lecture notebooks, exercise books, exercise books and necessary stationery are prepared according to the class schedule and placed in the upper left corner of the desk; (3) Items unrelated to this class should not be stacked on the desk, so as not to distract attention and affect the study of this class; (4) Before the bell rings, enter the classroom and stop making noise, chasing and slapstick. Then sit in the seat and wait for the teacher to come.

3. The habit of listening attentively. Listen carefully to teachers and classmates in class, and express your views bravely in exploration, communication and study. Never doze off in your seat, or do things that violate classroom discipline, such as gossiping and deserting.

4. The habit of finishing homework independently. Homework should be done independently, not copied or copied by others. When you encounter a problem that you can't do, you should take the initiative to ask the teacher, or ask the teacher for permission to choose a topic that suits your foundation.

5. The habit of reviewing in time. Review is a process of consolidating and digesting knowledge. After class, we must consolidate the review in time, reflect and summarize the key and difficult knowledge learned in class, where we have learned and where we have not learned.

6. The habit of asking if you don't understand. Some students have problems that they can't solve themselves. They are too proud to ask their classmates and teachers, but they don't pretend to understand. In this way, the more problems are accumulated, the more passive learning will be. Therefore, when you encounter problems that you don't understand, you must be open-minded and ask your classmates and teachers in time; If you don't find a teacher to teach yourself in time, you can also find teachers in other classes.

7. The habit of sorting out the wrong questions. The function of (1) wrong title book. The wrong question book mainly records the typical wrong questions in exercises, homework and exams in various subjects, and makes in-depth analysis. This paper mainly analyzes the causes of mistakes, the ideas to solve correct answers, and the reflection on lessons. (2) Preparation of the wrong book. Three subjects, Chinese, Mathematics and English, each compile a wrong book, while science subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology can compile a wrong book, and liberal arts subjects such as politics, history and geography can also compile a wrong book. (3) using the wrong book. In the usual study, we should always look through the wrong book, learn from the mistakes, and try not to make mistakes twice on the same question.

8. The habit of reading after class. (1) Students should make full use of the library and the book corner of this class to read after class, and strive to read after class for at least one hour every day, so as to form a good habit of "loving reading, reading more and reading good books". (2) Prepare a special reading notebook, extract beautiful words and phrases, record your experiences, and constantly improve your reading depth and taste. (3) The eighth class every Tuesday is the extracurricular reading time stipulated by the school. (4) Read more Chinese and foreign masterpieces and biographies of great men, and subscribe to some extracurricular books. (5) Every afternoon, before the first class starts 15 minutes, the class teacher is responsible for the reading communication time of each class. Arrange 2-3 students to make impromptu speeches in turn every day, and all students should attend. The content is "telling reading stories" and "talking about reading experience".

Second, how to develop good study habits:

1. Set the target. Goals are a guide to action, so we must determine scientific and reasonable learning goals according to our actual learning situation.

2. Step by step and persevere. President Mao Zedong once said, if you are constant, why do you sleep at night? The most useless thing is to be frozen for ten days a day. Once a scientific and reasonable study plan is made, it must be strictly implemented, including preview, homework, sorting out wrong questions, extracurricular reading and other learning tasks, which must be completed regularly and quantitatively; Otherwise, it will be anticlimactic. Therefore, students must be giants of action.

3. Start with small things and pay attention to details. "Don't do evil, don't do good." Everyone knows that "details determine success or failure". A person's habits and qualities are often reflected in small things. So always remind yourself to start with small things and pay attention to details.

4. Constantly reflect and strengthen self-discipline. People's behavior is not only influenced by external factors, but also through self-restraint. In the process of forming good habits or overcoming bad habits, it is easy to appear repeatedly, so we must be strict with ourselves, strengthen self-discipline, constantly reflect and adjust in time.

In order to strengthen the cultivation of students' good study habits, the school will also organize special inspections, and the class teacher will organize a speech contest on "Cultivating Good Study Habits" in the eighth class this Tuesday. Each class can organize competitions as a study group. The school will organize the finals on the basis of each class competition. The school will also hold selection activities for individuals and individual activists who develop good study habits. Each class teacher should take the cultivation of study habits as an important part of class management, organize learning and emphasis at class meetings, and strengthen supervision and inspection; Teachers in all classes will also take the cultivation of good study habits as an important part of subject teaching and semester credits.

Today you are the result of past habits, and today's habits will be your prediction of tomorrow. Students, have you ever sighed and been in a daze for a day on the way home from school, feeling guilty and sorry? Correct bad habits and constantly let good study habits amplify your determination and efforts. Over time, you can achieve the glory of life!

Finally, I want to encourage you with a sentence from the famous American psychologist william james: "Sow an action and reap a habit; Sow a habit and reap a character; Sow a character and reap a destiny. "

Thank you!
