Xiamen Garden Expo Park is located in Xinglin Bay, jimei district, Xiamen, and officially opened to the public on September 23rd, 2007. Characteristic scenic spot
Xinglin Pavilion: Designed by China architect Qi Kang, it is one of the landmark buildings of the Garden Expo Park, located on the island of Fujian and Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on eight sides. It is an octagonal antique building with pavilions and pavilions. Located in Xinglin Bay, it is called Xinglin, with a total height of 56.8 meters. It is the tallest landmark building in the Garden Expo Park, which can be described as the pavilion of the Garden Expo Park.
Lunar halo: it is one of the most important supporting landscapes in the Garden Expo Park. Its design concept comes from the profit and loss of the moon. This beautiful light line change is mainly realized by the internally installed adjustable led nightlight, showing a moving landscape of "the sea rises and the moon rises".
Sage Square: Located in China Education Island. It is divided into two parts, the front and back are mainly spring pools and flowing Qushui, which is covered with famous ancient landscape poems. There are six bronze statues of sages and 16 bronze statues of educators of past dynasties on display in the square.
Xinglin Academy: Located in the north of China Education Island, the whole exterior architectural blueprint is based on Yuelu Academy style, with four enclosed courtyards, 16 scenic spot. The academy is designed around three functions: offering sacrifices, collecting books and giving lectures. On the basis of restoring the original function of the academy, it realizes the interaction and display to meet the needs of modern education.
Island Flower Landscape: According to the characteristics of flowers, Xiamen Garden Expo Park will display seasonal flowers in different seasons, including narcissus, rape, tulip, white chrysanthemum, peach blossom, sunflower, cosmos, lotus, sage, bougainvillea, corn poppy and other dozens of flowers. Introduction to the park
The park is very big, and now it is open to four islands, namely, main exhibition island, Fujian-Taiwan island, Zhongjiao island, Daodao island and Wenquan island. It is recommended to take a sightseeing battery car for sightseeing.
When you enter the park from Yuan Bo Square, your position is the main exhibition island of the park. The first thing you see is Yuan Bo Avenue, which is 2 100 meters long. It is a main spatial landscape axis integrating landscape, transportation, leisure, performance and entertainment, running through the north and south of Yuanbo Island. Bounded by broad gardens, there are three major garden schools: Beiyuan, Jiangnan, Lingnan and Zhonghua, and there is a national style garden in the east, which represents "inheritance"; There are modern gardens, international gardens and landscape architects' gardens in the west, which means "development". On this island, it is suggested to visit the Eastern Half Garden, mainly Lingnan Garden (watching Wuqiao Acrobatic Performance) and Guofeng Garden (Nanning Garden in Guangxi, Guizhou Garden, Kunming Garden, Inner Mongolia Garden, Hebei Liyuan Garden, Lanzhou Watercar Garden and Jinan Garden), and then come to the second island-Mintai Island, with an area of about 16 hectares and a city exhibition garden/kloc-0. Visiting this island mainly promotes Sage Square and Xinglin Academy.
To visit China Education Park, you can take a battery car out of the park, go around the west half of the main exhibition island, and visit the modern garden, international garden and landscape garden of the main exhibition island.
