The main responsibilities of the Education Bureau

(a) to fully implement the educational principles, policies and regulations of the party and the state, study and formulate specific principles and policies for ethnic education and organize their implementation.

(2) To study and formulate the national education development plan and annual development plan, draw up the focus, scale, speed and steps of education development, and organize, guide and coordinate the implementation of the national education development plan, annual plan, educational system reform and school-running system reform.

(3) To be responsible for national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education and higher education (including running schools by social forces), and to coordinate, guide and supervise the educational work of all districts, counties (countries) and relevant departments.

(four) responsible for the construction of national teachers and education administrative cadres, responsible for the qualification of primary and secondary school principals; Participate in the formulation of relevant policies and rules and regulations on personnel management in the national education system; Guide the reform of education and personnel system, and organize the implementation of employment distribution for graduates of normal universities.

(five) responsible for the adjustment of the layout planning of all kinds of school outlets in the country, as well as the management of school infrastructure, school buildings, school property and educational land.

Internal institutions, policies and regulations, and scientific research management offices

To be responsible for the research on the comprehensive reform and development strategy of national education and conduct policy research on major issues; Planning and drafting local education laws, regulations and policies; Responsible for the legal publicity, education administrative law enforcement supervision and administrative reconsideration of the national education department. The Office of the National Leading Group for Educational Science Planning is located in the Policy and Regulation Research Management Office and is in charge of the national educational science research.

Responsible for learning management. The Office of the State Language Commission is the office of the State Language Commission, which is located in the State Education Bureau and co-located with the Policy and Regulation Research and Management Office.
