Xiamen University Malaysian Branch is the first overseas branch school wholly owned by a famous university in China approved by the Ministry of Education of China on 20 13. As a new chapter in China's higher education under the "Belt and Road" model, the branch school is not only an overseas extension of Xiamen University, but also the first key university branch school in China introduced by Xiamen University.

Xiamen University Malaysia has an independent campus, covering an area of more than 90 mu, with a total construction area of 47,046 square meters.
