2. Hong Kong guarantee. If you want to apply to study in Hong Kong, you must nominate a local sponsor. The local guarantor can be an institution or an individual who accepts the applicant. If the guarantor is an individual, he shall meet the following conditions: at least 18 years old; Be a Hong Kong resident who really lives in Hong Kong; Familiar with the applicant; And have the financial ability to bear the applicant's living expenses and provide accommodation.

According to the laws of Hong Kong, it is illegal for anyone to knowingly and intentionally declare false information, or to fill in information that he knows to be false or does not believe to be true, and any relevant visa/entry permit issued or permission to enter or stay in the HKSAR is invalid.
5. Submit an application. All completed forms must be signed. If there are accompanying dependants, each dependant must fill in and sign part B of the application form ID995A.
6. Time for approval. After the Immigration Department receives all the required documents, it usually takes six weeks to process the visa/entry permit application for studying in Hong Kong. If the required documents and information are not received, the Immigration Department will not be able to start processing the application. Unless there is a special need, the applicant should not check the progress of the application with the Immigration Department to avoid delaying the processing of the application.
7. Pay the fee. If the application form is submitted directly to the Hong Kong Immigration Department, the relevant fees should be paid in cash, EPS or cheque when obtaining the visa/entry permit. Cheques must be crossed, marked "Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region", dated and duly signed.
