First of all, watercolor hand-painted pens can be divided into round-headed pens, pointed pens (this seems to be my personal classification), flat-headed pens and other special-shaped pens according to their shapes. The round-headed pen is the most common one for watercolor painting. Therefore, it has always been thought that the flat pen is used for gouache painting and the round pen is used for watercolor painting. Among the round pens, there are also two kinds of pens with a slightly blunt nib and a sharp nib. According to the shape of the pen, it can be divided into round-headed pen, pointed pen (this seems to be my private classification), flat-headed pen and other special shapes.

Blunt can be said to be completely flat. If it is natural hair, generally speaking, the tip shape of the pen tip is not formed by the hair itself from coarse to fine, but mostly by tying the hair together at random and trimming it with a knife. The end of this kind of hair is a flat part, just like cut hair. This pen will never converge, and it will never draw sharp lines. Generally speaking, this pen is unqualified, but it will be used to draw some special effects in the drawing process. And if it's nylon, it seems to be made in this style on purpose.

Hand-drawing is a basic exercise, and you can use board drawing to draw later, which is efficient and the general trend. I think the basis is the same. So lay the foundation first. That is, composition, perspective, light and shade, color. What is the daily life of touching watercolor painting? In fact, it is not difficult to imagine that even the most powerful big touch is made in one fell swoop after repeated hard training and revision, so there is no shortcut in the world, and the so-called big touch does not need to think about whether it is painting or on the way to painting.

If you want to get ahead of others, you will suffer afterwards. This is the absolute truth.
