The subordinate institutions of the Science and Technology Bureau are:

Engaged in education, scientific research, culture, health, sports, press and publication, radio and television, social welfare, emergency rescue and disaster relief, statistical investigation, technology popularization and experiment, public facilities management, material storage, monitoring, exploration and measurement, surveying and mapping, inspection and appraisal, legal services, resource management, quality and technical supervision, economic supervision, intellectual property affairs, notarization and authentication, information and consultation.
