In April 2022, the school official website showed that Harbin Institute of Technology has 9 national key disciplines, 6 national key disciplines with two disciplines and 2 national key cultivation disciplines; There are 29 first-level disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees, 4 master's degree authorization points1each, 5 master's degree authorization points 19, 24 post-doctoral mobile stations and 6 key disciplines (groups) 16 in Heilongjiang province.
On June 20 13, the results of the third round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education were announced. There are 10 first-class disciplines in our school, among which mechanics ranks first in the country.

There are 17 disciplines in Harbin Institute of Technology, among which environmental science and engineering, mechanical engineering, control science and engineering rank in the A+ file (top 2%).
