During the Youth Olympic Games, on a Saturday afternoon, my parents and I entered the Youth Olympic Village as tourists. Before arriving at the Youth Olympic Village, I learned that the Youth Olympic Village is located on the bank of Hexi New Town in Nanjing, and can provide accommodation, catering and other services for 6,000 athletes, team officials, young ambassadors and young journalists. At the same time, the Youth Olympic Village is also the venue for regular meetings of heads of sports delegations from various countries and regions and major cultural and educational activities.

After passing the security check, we even entered the village. As soon as I entered the Youth Olympic Village, I felt the strong atmosphere of the global village. The national flags of many countries are hung on the windows or walls of their places of residence to show the territories where athletes from various countries live. In the Youth Olympic Village, athletes from all over the world can be seen in pairs, participating in cultural and educational activities and radiant.

I looked around the village, just like Granny Liu entered the Grand View Garden. It's an eye-opener. I am surrounded by big brothers and sisters of all colors from abroad. They kept coming in and out of rows of small houses. I asked my father, "What is this place?" Dad said that this is the activity place of the world cultural village and it is worth seeing. Later, under the leadership of Xiaoqing Ning, I entered various huts, as if I were in a foreign country, and the exotic customs came into view, which was dizzying.

First of all, I saw a foreign elder sister learning to knit Chinese knots. I think she knits very carefully. Then she found me and asked me to take a photo with her. I readily agreed, and my father took a photo of us with his mobile phone and stopped our smiles. Then, I found a very interesting game, which is playing marbles. I picked up chopsticks and played marbles according to the rules. It looks easy, but it is difficult to do. At first, it always slipped away. Finally, I found the skill and finished the game. I got a pair of chopsticks as a reward.

In my opinion, the most interesting thing in the Youth Olympic Village is the hand-painted mask. A Xiaoqing Ning gave me a white mask and asked me to draw colors and patterns on it according to my own wishes. Then I used my imagination to draw a mask with blue eye shadow, and then I drew a face, including nose, mouth, eyebrows and chin. It's really scary to see a good mask embryo turned into a "monster" by me after painting.

In the Youth Olympic Village, there are also educational activities such as music decompression, learning to cook Chinese food, environmental protection experience and self-protection during exercise. Because of the tight time, I reluctantly left the Youth Olympic Village before I could take part in these activities.
