Political experience

In Malaysian Chinese politics, there are not many politicians active in politics and literature at the same time. Datuk Sai-Kit Yung, a member of Bandung District Council, is one of them, and he is proud of both. Weng Shijie, who is proficient in witchcraft, Chinese and English, was the political secretary of Datuk Li Jinshi, the former president of MCA, and was then the Minister of Labor. It was after Anbang won the parliamentary by-election in 1989 that he made his mark. In the national elections of 1990, 1995 and 1999, Sai-Kit Yung once again served as Feng Fu of Yongyue District of Anbang and successfully defended MCA three times.

1990 On June 1 1 day, Weng Shijie defeated Chen, a member of parliament from Dashanjiao District of the Action Party, in the House of Commons by 107 to 30 votes, and was elected as the deputy speaker of the House of Commons, filling the vacancy left by Wei Zhendelan's resignation until 1999. From 65438 to 0999, Weng Shijie was entrusted with a heavy responsibility as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. After the cabinet reshuffle in 2005, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, and he still serves the people in this position. In 2004, in the 1 1 national election, he was elected as a member of Bandeng District of Sai Zhou and was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. In 2006, under the reshuffle of the cabinet, he was transferred to the position of Deputy Minister of Higher Education. In June 2008, he was elected President of MCA.

Politically, Weng Shijie has experienced a lot of storms, but it is still able to save the day. He defeated his rival Song Rongbiao in the intra-party election of 1990 and was elected as the general secretary of the Communist Youth League. 1993 defeated challenger Zhang Minxing and successfully defended his title. 1996 defeated Dr. Cai Chongji and was re-elected as General Secretary of Ma Qing. When running for the Central Committee of MCA, he was elected as the Central Committee member with the highest number of 2277 votes. 1999, Weng Shijie repelled and was elected as the general. In 2004, Weng Shijie was elected as the vice president of MCA.
