Donghua Institute of Technology, a university jointly established by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Ministry of Land and Resources and China National Nuclear Corporation, was selected as the basic capacity building project,11plan, excellent engineer education and training plan, excellent engineer education and training plan 2.0, and new engineering research and practice project in central and western universities.

By the end of 20 18, 10 had two campuses, Nanchang and Fuzhou, with a total campus area of more than 2,500 mu and more than 30,000 students (including international students), including nearly 1600 graduate students.
