Its contents include the basic principles of China's socialist democracy and legal system construction and education in politics, democratic consciousness, basic knowledge of law and revolutionary discipline. To carry out the education of socialist democracy and socialist legal system, we must first help all citizens to enhance their sense of political responsibility as masters of their own affairs and correctly exercise their democratic rights. Educate people to understand that socialist democracy is democracy under the centralized and unified leadership of China. Under the socialist system, the people enjoy extensive democracy and freedom, and at the same time, they must abide by socialist discipline and legal system, and are not allowed to engage in extreme democratization and anarchy under any pretext. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, China has established various laws and regulations with the Constitution as the core and achieved remarkable results. However, compared with the process of economic development, the laws and regulations of relevant departments need further improvement, perfection and implementation, such as planning law, financial legislation, anti-unfair competition law, consumer rights protection law and so on.
