The National College Students' Basic Medical Innovation Forum and Experimental Design Forum are sponsored by the National Association of Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers, the Basic Medical Education Branch of China Higher Medical Education Association and the Basic Medical Specialty and Curriculum Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education.

The competition of reporting scientific research achievements and discussing experimental design ideas during undergraduate study aims at strengthening the cultivation of innovative experimental skills and scientific research thinking of college students, promoting the reform of talent training mode and providing a stage for college students to show themselves. Its core is to introduce a group of talents with practical spirit and innovative ability.
