If the curriculum reform of secondary vocational schools in the province in 2008 is limited to specialized courses, and the main achievement is that the concept of integration of theory and practice is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, then the curriculum reform of secondary vocational schools initiated at the end of the year covers the curriculum system, flexible academic system, specialty selection and teaching evaluation system, which is an all-round reform. The curriculum reform of new secondary vocational schools has given students more choices, created conditions for the transformation and upgrading of secondary vocational education in our city, and made every effort to create a new business card for secondary vocational education. It has also laid a good foundation for secondary vocational education in our city to better serve the economy and people's livelihood and the construction of "one capital, three cities".
1 Curriculum reform: the new normal of secondary vocational education
Last June, the National Conference on Vocational Education was held in Beijing, and the Decision of the State Council on Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education was issued. Subsequently, the Ministry of Education and other six ministries and commissions jointly issued the Plan for the Construction of Modern Vocational Education System (20 14-2020), clearly put forward the strategy of "step by step" in vocational education, and strived to build a modern vocational education system. At this point, the comprehensive deepening of vocational education reform has entered a new normal, and "integration of general education and vocational education", "synchronization of skills literacy" and "equal emphasis on employment and further education" have become new concepts of vocational education development.
Last June, 1 1, our province launched the curriculum reform of secondary vocational education in an all-round way. On June 5438+ 10 this year, the training meeting on curriculum reform of secondary vocational education in our city was held, and the curriculum reform plan of secondary vocational education in our city was announced. Our city is the first in the province to start the curriculum reform of secondary vocational education.
As early as 2003, Sanmen Vocational Secondary School began to reform the credit system, established a systematic credit system management system, teaching system, evaluation system and curriculum system, tried to implement hierarchical teaching, and achieved good results, which has been adhered to so far. Wenling Vocational and Technical School began to try out the credit system in September, 2005, and tried out several course selection mechanisms. The courses were divided into public compulsory courses, limited elective courses and elective courses, so that students could choose majors or courses according to their employment or further studies.
In 2008, our city issued the Implementation Measures for Implementing the Credit System in Taizhou Secondary Vocational Schools, which deepened the curriculum reform with the credit system as the main content, established the direction of professional curriculum reform integrating theory with practice, and effectively improved the training quality of skilled talents in secondary vocational schools in the city. The employment rate remains above 99%, and the counterpart rate remains above 80%. Linhai Secondary Vocational and Technical School and Sanmen County Vocational and Technical School were rated as the first batch of secondary vocational education curriculum reform base schools in the province in 2009, and many beneficial explorations were made in the integration of theory and practice of professional courses. Students' skills have improved rapidly, and their employment rate and counterpart rate are high. Jiaojiang Vocational Secondary School was awarded the second batch of secondary vocational education curriculum reform base schools in the province in 20 1 1 year, and the curriculum reform achievement "Electronic Technology" was listed as the national vocational education planning textbook.
According to the "Program", in the first half of the year, Sanmen County Vocational Secondary School, Linhai Vocational and Technical School and Wenling Vocational and Technical School, the pilot schools for curriculum reform in provincial secondary vocational schools, were piloted first. Before the end of March this year, three counties (cities, 1-234) were initially identified.
