When Zhang Zai 1993 retired from the army, he found that his grandson knew nothing about the 73rd1Army of the Japanese invaders, which made the old man persecuted by the Japanese invaders have the idea of holding exhibitions to educate his children. Speaking of the germ warfare of Japanese invaders, Hong Sheng, an old man in Zhangman, said that his hometown Guanmiao Street in Changde City, Hunan Province was the battlefield of germ warfare. Before the Sino-Japanese War in Changde, the Japanese bombed Zhang Lao's hometown, and all his houses were destroyed. Mother took Zhang to take refuge in Jinxia Township. At this time, news came that my father, who was working in Changde, was injured. On June 3rd,1941165438, 12-year-old Cai Taoer died of Japanese plague in Guanmiao Street, opposite to Zhang's hometown. Cai Taoer was the first victim of germ warfare in Changde. Lao Zhangman Hong Sheng later made a special trip to interview Chen Zhiyuan, director of Hunan Institute of Bacteriological Warfare, and learned that Japanese troops killed 1743 civilians (excluding soldiers) in Changde Bacteriological Warfare.
After 1993, Zhang became a volunteer in the exhibition hall of the former site of 73 1, and carefully collected more than 200 precious pictures and library materials related to 73 1. Dongfeng Community in Pingfang District fully cooperated with the exhibition after learning the idea that the elderly would hold the "7.31"criminal evidence exhibition. This exhibition is divided into eight themes: taking history as a mirror, Japanese aggression against China, atrocities in the East, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, heroes through the ages, victory in the Anti-Japanese War and facing the future.
