How to strengthen the connection between history and reality in history teaching
As a basic subject education, history teaching has been put on hold and ignored by schools, parents and students. In some schools, the history course offered in the curriculum is often a mere formality. Usually, when the main class is tense, the history class is suspended and occupied at will. What makes the history teacher helpless is that in the hearts of many students, history lessons are dispensable. To get history teaching out of the predicament, we should closely link history with real life and social development, and let students realize that learning history is not to remember some useless knowledge, but to better understand reality through history, deepen their understanding of history through reality, and develop students' innovative thinking in multiple angles, levels and forms in the interaction between history and reality.
