Classification of adult education
There are four main forms of adult continuing education, namely, adult college entrance examination, higher education self-study examination, modern distance open education of RTVU and open network education of Open College. These four forms of education have their own characteristics. Except for adult higher education, the other three items do not need to take the national unified entrance examination. There are also great differences in admission, curriculum, graduation years, charging standards, degree awarding, and class methods.

Adult higher education is divided into three types: junior college, senior high school and junior college. There are three forms of study in school: full-time, part-time (including part-time and evening university) and correspondence. The shortest time for full-time study is: four years in senior high school, two years in junior college and two years in junior college (higher vocational school); The minimum study time for amateur and correspondence courses is five years from senior high school and two and a half years from junior high school and junior college (higher vocational college).
