Capital construction office

Responsible for the basic construction, school building maintenance and management of directly affiliated units, and coordinating the development of new residential areas in urban areas and the construction of supporting schools for the transformation of old areas; To supervise and guide the basic construction of education in counties and urban areas and the renovation of dilapidated houses in rural areas; Responsible for the examination and approval of school building construction projects in four districts of the city, and check the implementation of the basic construction tasks of urban schools.

Language Committee

To implement national, provincial and municipal language policies, laws and regulations; Formulate language and writing work plans, guide the promotion of Putonghua and the proficiency test of Putonghua, and standardize the management of Chinese characters in society.

Responsible for the scientific experimental research and guidance of basic education, vocational education and educational informatization in the city; Summarize and publicize the advanced education and teaching experience of our city; Carry out educational research and academic discussion; Perform the duties of Dalian Education Science Planning Leading Group Office, and manage the educational science research work and projects in the whole city.

The secretariats of Dalian Education Society and Dalian Vocational and Technical Education Society are also affiliated to the Municipal Education Society, and are specifically responsible for organizing and guiding mass education, scientific research and academic activities.
