Unconsciously, I have carefully read two books by Zhang Wenzhi. Every reading is a spiritual washing and a spiritual journey. I officially entered the eighth day of reading the third book, Education is the Art of Slow. The following are excerpts from my reading:

1, teachers' knowledge literacy should convince students that teachers' knowledge level is much higher than what they want to teach.

2. "Teachers should set an example for students", tell the truth, do practical things and be kind to every student.

3. When we grade our children, we are actually grading ourselves and lack confidence in ourselves.

It is more important to learn your strengths than to make up for them.

Talent is important, but more importantly, when it is often difficult for children to know where his talent is, the teacher's expectation, impartiality and keen observation are of irreplaceable value for sincerely helping every student. Being kind to every student is the most intrinsic criterion of teachers' professional ethics.

6. A good teacher will be more beautiful in class than usual. On the other hand, how can a teacher who is rude to students in class, indifferent, stylized and without enthusiasm for teaching be beautiful?

7. People's mental outlook and temperament are indeed self-shaping, which is what Bacon said: what you learn is a character, what you learn is a habit, and what you learn will be revealed from your eyes and gestures.

8. The teacher's feelings first come from the teacher's attitude towards the students. What do you think of children? Do you see kindness, kindness, expectation and affirmation in your eyes? Is your way of evaluating children appropriate and can you be accepted by them happily? Can your education level lead your children forward? Even your lifestyle and attitude towards life have valuable "teaching value"?
