Schiller of Germany first put forward the concept of aesthetic education in the west, which includes two words. One is "aesthetics" and the other is "education". The combination of the two words is aesthetic education. Cai Yuanpei studied in Germany at his own expense. He himself said that he was the first to translate German aesthetic education into Chinese "aesthetic education". He also said, "there has never been such a thing before." But their concept of "aesthetic education" is more than 3000 years later than China's word "culture". The "text" of culture is pictographic, and its original meaning is the alternation of strokes and colors, which is today's "grain". "Wen" is aesthetic and beautiful. "Hua" is a word of understanding, and its original meaning is enlightenment. "Education" is education. Because the left and right parts of "Hua", one is a follower and the other is a retrogressive person, together, show that educating a person, that is, changing a person, is as difficult as turning him upside down from head to toe.
Now, the meanings of "culture" and "culture" are linked, one is aesthetics and the other is education. Isn't it aesthetic education? Therefore, we say that Schiller only first put forward the concept of "aesthetic education" recognized by modern people, but the languages of different countries are different, and the earliest concept should be determined not by a symbol, but by the connotation of the symbol. Therefore, the earliest "aesthetic education" should be the "culture" in Oracle bone inscriptions, rather than Schiller's two concepts of German aesthetic education.
