Let's talk about the learning process first. As we all know, history belongs to the category of humanities in universities. Since it is a humanities subject, for history, students in colleges and universities don't have to study advanced mathematics, which also relieves your pain in learning history to some extent. After all, many high school history people have lost confidence in mathematics.

In addition to not having to learn advanced mathematics, the comparison between history and humanities has many advantages. For example, historians, compared with Chinese language majors, can have less pressure, so they don't have to read books endlessly and write reading notes every day. I once asked my Chinese language and literature classmates that they need to read nearly 100 books a semester, and each one should write reading notes. This is not my intention to exaggerate, but it is real. The learning process of history is not so difficult, and your college life will not be too painful.

Secondly, from the perspective of learning interest, the university history teaching focuses on telling you some real historical events and telling you which period of history is worth pondering, which can enhance your interest in history learning, isn't it? And there are many kinds of history. When you have the history of China and the world, how many historical stories do you see in reality? So, history is really interesting, and you can only find it after you study it deeply.

Employment is actually the main reason why many people study history hard. After all, the employment in history is really narrow, although narrow, but the demand is great. For example, the profession of history teacher is now facing the new college entrance examination reform, and the country is also advocating the importance of history, so the demand for history teachers in many schools is also increasing. You can also choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination. In fact, history will have more choices in the postgraduate entrance examination. You can not only take the postgraduate entrance examination for this major, but also take other humanities-related exams. I once talked to one of my sociology teachers, and she strongly suggested that if there are two students in the same grade taking the postgraduate exam, but one of them is studying history, then she would prefer the one studying history.

I believe that from what I have described above, you should be able to feel the benefits of studying history, but you have to contact it yourself to know whether it is good or not. I chose the university to study history because I am interested in history, because I think the combination of interest and future is really desirable on the road of life.
