The theory of "universal wisdom" is an important topic that Comenius explored all his life. Its main purpose is to impart all useful knowledge to all people, so that their wisdom can be generally developed. This thought fully embodies the spirit of the times that the emerging bourgeoisie advocated the development of science and opposed religious obscurantism since the Renaissance, as well as the democratic requirements of universal education. This thought is the core of Comenius' educational thought and the purpose of his educational activities. According to the theory of universal wisdom, Comenius believes that teaching contents and courses should follow the principles of practicality, universality and less but better. According to these three principles, Comenius put forward specific reform opinions on the teaching content and curriculum of the school at that time, focusing on the reform of Chinese teaching, expanding the teaching content of schools at all levels, and strengthening the teaching of emerging natural science knowledge.
