At the news briefing held by the Ministry of Education yesterday, the first batch of "Professional Teaching Standards for Higher Vocational Schools" (hereinafter referred to as "Professional Teaching Standards") was issued, which stipulated the teaching standards for 465 and 438+08 majors in higher vocational colleges and published the "Guidance Catalogue for Higher Vocational Education in Ordinary Colleges and Universities", which filled the gap in the field of professional teaching standards for higher vocational education in China. According to Li Yimin, an expert of the professional teaching standard setting group, in order to adapt to the continuous transformation of enterprises, professional teaching standards will be revised every two or three years, "aiming at the needs of enterprises to carry out curriculum reform".
Ge Daokai, director of the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, said that after the release of the standards, the Ministry of Education will monitor the running of higher vocational colleges in real time in the "National Basic Teaching Status Database" system, and send experts to verify and evaluate whether the data of each university is true and reasonable. Next, the Ministry of Education will continue to formulate the teaching standards for the remaining 1 167 higher vocational majors. The Ministry of Education is also working on the basic requirements of professional teaching in secondary vocational schools, and the first batch of professional teaching standards for secondary vocational schools will be issued next year.
