Institutional setup of Chengdu Institute of Educational Sciences
1. Middle school education research room: mainly engaged in the research and guidance of middle school education.

2. Primary education research room: mainly engaged in the research and guidance of primary education.

3. Sinology Research Office: It is responsible for guiding and organizing primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the city to carry out reading activities of sinology classics, studying the difficulties and hot issues in the process of reading sinology classics, summarizing and popularizing the experience of reading activities of sinology classics in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in our city, and promoting them.

4. Educational theory research room: mainly engaged in the planning, management and guidance of basic education and scientific research in the city, as well as the research and guidance of mental health education and preschool education in primary and secondary schools.

5. Vocational education and adult education research room: mainly engaged in teaching research and guidance of secondary vocational and technical schools, as well as research and guidance of labor transfer training, community construction and adult secondary school teaching.

6. Teaching research room of "9+3" free education project in Tibetan areas: mainly engaged in teaching research, teaching management, teaching guidance, teacher training, guidance and participation in teaching reform experiments of "9+3" free vocational education.

7. Education Development Research Center: Mainly engaged in macro and meso research of education, providing decision-making consultation for Chengdu's education development.

8. Teacher Development Center: mainly engaged in the continuing education of teachers in the city and the management of continuing education hours; To undertake the management, evaluation, research, guidance, training and service of teachers' professional development in the city.

9. Chengdu Basic Education Quality Monitoring Center:

(1). Formulation of academic quality evaluation standards for basic education in Chengdu. Including primary school, junior high school and ordinary high school academic quality evaluation standards and physical and mental health status and other related fields of the index system. Construction of ecological index system of academic quality of primary and middle school students in Chengdu;

(2) Research and develop tools for monitoring the academic quality of basic education in Chengdu. Including primary school, junior high school and senior high school academic quality test tools (including investigation and diagnosis, etc. ) based on curriculum standards;

(3) Entrusted by the Municipal Education Bureau, we will monitor the academic quality of basic education in Chengdu. Formulate monitoring implementation plans, organize monitoring work, process and analyze monitoring data, and submit monitoring reports to the Municipal Education Bureau;

(4) Provide technical support and professional guidance for monitoring the academic quality of basic education in all districts (cities) and counties.

10. Chengdu International Education Policy and Curriculum Research Center:

(1). Responsible for studying the development trend of international education situation and policies, and providing policy suggestions for the internationalization of education in Chengdu;

(2) Analyze and study the foreign curriculum development trend and curriculum setting: learn from the experience of high school cooperation in developed countries and regions such as Europe and America, build a working platform for the international curriculum setting of ordinary schools and vocational schools in our city, and provide relevant suggestions and opinions;

(three) to study the development of international understanding education and organize the teaching and research activities of international understanding education in the city; Responsible for researching, developing and offering international courses (local courses) of local universities for international understanding education, and providing course support for primary and secondary school students in the city to enhance their international vision and participate in international exchanges and cooperation more effectively;

(4) Conducting comparative cultural research, offering local cultural courses and compiling teaching materials to provide teaching services for international students and other foreigners in Chengdu to understand Chengdu local culture;

(five) to supervise and manage the teaching of international schools and foreign courses established in the city; Organize the teaching and research activities of foreign language courses in the city, and analyze and study the teaching materials offered and used;

(6) Organizing and hosting academic conferences on international courses.

Chengdu Education Association, Chengdu Vocational and Technical Education Association, Chengdu Adult Education Association and Chengdu Geographical Society Secretariat are affiliated to Chengdu Institute of Educational Science.

Chengdu Education Bureau has set up management institutions in Chengdu Academy of Educational Sciences: Chengdu Education Science Planning Leading Group Office, Chengdu Basic Education Curriculum Reform Leading Group Office, Chengdu Education Bureau Ordinary High School Curriculum Reform Office, Chengdu Mental Health Education Steering Committee Office, Chengdu Moral Education Working Group Office, Chengdu Primary and Secondary School Teacher Education Leading Group Office, and Chengdu Chinese Classics Reading Guidance Center.
