Shanghai Civil Defence Science Education Center is located on floors 7 to 10 of Civil Defence Building, No.593 Fuxing Middle Road, Luwan District, with a building area of 4,400 square meters. It is divided into four parts: preface hall, civil air defense hall, disaster prevention and mitigation hall and review and prospect hall. By showing historical air strikes, air strike weapons, modern air strike characteristics, etc. This paper mainly introduces the relevant knowledge and skills of civil air defense and various effective ways and means to deal with modern air strikes. Combined with the disaster-prone situation in Shanghai, the causes, hazards and protective measures of disasters such as typhoon, storm surge, lightning, earthquake, tornado, fire, chemical accident and infectious disease are emphatically introduced, and some interactive equipment and devices such as 4D cinema, subway escape and on-site rescue are used to let tourists experience and participate personally, and familiarize themselves with escape methods and self-help and mutual rescue skills.
As a comprehensive popular science base for popularizing civil defense and public safety knowledge, the museum is open to the public free of charge, which enables the general public, especially teenagers, to further enhance their national defense concepts and civil defense awareness, understand and master relevant protection knowledge and skills, and continuously improve Shanghai's comprehensive protection ability against modern wars and various disasters.
