According to the latest information released by the World Skills Organization, four competitions will be added, namely, chemical laboratory technology, cloud computing, network security and hotel reception. In 56 competitions, 1479 contestants and 1399 technical experts have signed up, more than in previous competitions.

Development history

The World Skills Competition, organized by the World Skills Organization, is known as the "Skills Olympics" and is an important platform for members of the World Skills Organization to display and exchange their professional skills.

Up to the 42nd World Skills Competition on 20 13, the competition items of the World Skills Competition are divided into six categories, namely, structural and architectural technology, creative art and fashion, information and communication technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, social and personal services, transportation and logistics, with a total of 46 competition items.

In most competitions, the age of the contestants is limited to 22 years old, and the age of the contestants is limited to 25 years old in the four comprehensive projects with work experience requirements: manufacturing team challenge, mechatronics, information network wiring and aircraft maintenance.
